BuildrBond Privacy Notice

Effective July 19, 2026

This Notice explains how Famplified LLC collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information through BuildrBond. It also explains the choices and privacy requests available to you.

Our baseline: BuildrBond does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, use targeted advertising, or use third-party advertising cookies. Private preferences are not public popularity signals.

1. Scope and controller

Famplified LLC operates BuildrBond and determines how information covered by this Notice is handled. This Notice applies to the website, member application, communities, events, support, and related communications. A venue, event host, linked site, or other member may independently handle information under their own practices.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account and contact data: email address, Cognito account identifier, consent versions, and account status.
  • Profile and matching data: display name, birth date, age, city, builder role, relationship intent, gender matching category, optional pronouns, private interested-in categories, biography, compatibility responses, and deal-breaker choices.
  • Content and interactions: profile photos, likes, saves, passes, notes, connection messages, community posts/comments, event RSVPs, attendee-visibility choices, and introduction requests.
  • Trust and safety data: blocks, reports, report details, moderation and appeal records, photo-review results, and optional builder-verification evidence.
  • Support and feedback: messages you send us and bounded AI-guide feedback.

Information collected automatically

We process request, authentication, device/browser, error, abuse-prevention, and delivery metadata needed to operate and secure the service. Our application access logs are configured to minimize member identifiers and do not intentionally log access tokens, profile prose, message bodies, report evidence, or AI prompts and responses.

Information from service providers or other people

We may receive login status from Amazon Cognito, email delivery/bounce information from Amazon SES, photo-safety labels from Amazon Rekognition, infrastructure/security signals from AWS, AI response metadata when you request an enabled guide, and information another member includes in a report or interaction.

3. Sensitive information

Matching preferences, compatibility responses, message content, reports, verification evidence, and some profile details may be sensitive or may permit inferences about relationships, sexuality, beliefs, health, or personal circumstances. We use them only for the member-requested feature, safety, security, legal compliance, or other purposes described here. We do not use sensitive information for targeted advertising.

BuildrBond does not currently use biometric identity verification. Automated image processing removes metadata, creates derivatives, and screens safety labels; it does not create an identity-verification database. If biometric or liveness verification is ever introduced, it will require a separate notice, consent, retention decision, and non-biometric alternative before launch.

4. How we use information

  • create and secure accounts, verify age eligibility, and record consent;
  • provide profiles, deterministic recommendations, mutual connections, messaging, communities, events, and requested notifications;
  • apply private matching preferences and explain recommendation reasons without exposing another member's private settings;
  • process photos, review builder evidence, prevent fraud, investigate reports, enforce rules, support appeals, and protect people;
  • deliver service, safety, account, verification, and event communications;
  • debug, audit, measure aggregate pilot operation, control costs, and improve reliability without adding advertising trackers; and
  • comply with legal process, preserve evidence, establish or defend legal claims, and report apparent child exploitation or other matters when required.

5. Optional AI-assisted introduction guides

For the currently gated guide, BuildrBond sends OpenAI only a bounded set of structured facts already visible with an eligible introduction and BuildrBond's reviewed reason statements. We do not send biographies, messages, email addresses, birth dates, raw city text, reports, verification evidence, hidden matching preferences, exact deal-breaker answers, or raw member identifiers for this feature.

OpenAI does not determine eligibility or ranking, send messages, change profiles, or make safety decisions. A successful guide may be cached for up to 24 hours. Expired generated payloads are automatically cleared. We retain limited request state, model/prompt version, usage, latency, safe provider/error identifiers, and bounded feedback subject to the retention process below. Ordinary logs do not contain guide prompts or output.

6. What other members can see

Eligible members may see member-facing profile fields, approved photos, verification badges, recommendation reasons, content you post inside a joined community, messages you send in an active connection, and event visibility you explicitly choose. Private interested-in categories, exact compatibility answers, consent records, blocks, reports, moderation history, verification evidence, and private feedback are not displayed to other members. A report is not shared with the reported member, although we may disclose enough information to provide fair notice or comply with law while protecting the reporter where possible.

7. How information is disclosed

  • Service providers: AWS services for hosting, identity, storage, database, security, photo screening, and email; and OpenAI only for an explicitly requested, enabled AI guide. Providers receive information limited to their function and contractual/technical controls.
  • Other members and event/community participants: only as described by the relevant feature and your visibility choice.
  • Safety and legal recipients: emergency services, NCMEC, law enforcement, courts, regulators, counsel, or affected people where required or reasonably necessary to address danger, exploitation, fraud, legal process, or legal rights.
  • Business transfers: a successor or transaction participant may receive information subject to confidentiality and applicable law during a financing, merger, reorganization, or sale.

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or disclose it to data brokers. If that changes, we will update this Notice and provide legally required choices before beginning the new practice.

8. Cookies and storage

BuildrBond uses browser session storage for authentication state and security, while Cognito may use essential cookies on its hosted login domain. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies, behavioral-advertising pixels, or a cross-site analytics tracker. Browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control are honored where legally required; because we do not sell/share data or run targeted advertising, there is currently no advertising sale/share to opt out of.

9. Retention

We keep information only as needed for the purposes above, to protect people, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Current deployed controls include:

  • AI-generated guide payloads are eligible for clearing after 24 hours;
  • unprocessed photo-quarantine objects expire after 7 days;
  • verification-evidence objects expire after 90 days, subject to restricted safety/legal preservation;
  • ordinary application and infrastructure logs are generally retained for 90 days;
  • Aurora point-in-time and daily AWS Backup recovery points are retained for 35 days; and
  • active profile, matching, connection, message, community, event, notification, consent, and account records remain while the account or feature relationship is active unless a shorter control applies.

Account-deletion requests immediately deactivate discovery and participation. Final active-system erasure is processed subject to identity verification, operational completion, another participant's legitimate record, fraud/safety evidence, legal holds, and records we must or may lawfully retain. Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups until the recovery point expires and will be re-erased if a backup is restored. Safety and audit records are access-restricted and periodically reviewed; they are not retained merely for advertising or profile ranking.

10. Security and incidents

We use access controls, encryption, private storage, least-privilege roles, monitoring, backups, moderation records, and tested restore/rollback procedures appropriate to the pilot. No service is perfectly secure. If an incident creates legally reportable risk, we will investigate, contain it, preserve required evidence, and notify affected people and authorities as required by applicable law.

11. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, limit or withdraw consent for certain sensitive processing, opt out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising, appeal a denied request, and receive equal service when exercising a right. BuildrBond extends access, correction, and deletion request paths to all members even when a particular state law does not apply, subject to identity verification and lawful exceptions.

Use profile controls for correction and deletion or follow the Privacy Requests instructions. We will verify the request, respond within the period required by applicable law, explain material denials, and support authorized agents where legally required. Safety or legal restrictions may prevent us from providing another person's data, internal security details, privileged material, or information that would endanger someone.

12. Children

BuildrBond is for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly permit minors to use the service. If you believe a minor has an account, contact us immediately. We may remove the account and make legally required reports. Do not send suspected child sexual abuse material by email; use the in-product report flow or the NCMEC CyberTipline and contact emergency services for immediate danger.

13. United States operation

The controlled pilot is operated from and primarily intended for the United States. Information is processed in the United States. Do not use BuildrBond from another jurisdiction unless you understand that its laws may differ and the service may not be offered there.

14. Changes

We may update this Notice as the product or law changes. We will post a new effective date and provide additional notice or renewed consent when a change is material and applicable law requires it. Prior consent versions remain recorded for accountability.

15. Contact

Send privacy questions or requests to info@email.famplified.com with “BuildrBond privacy request” in the subject. Please do not include passwords, identity documents, intimate content, or unnecessary report evidence in ordinary email.
